First-time drug offenders are typically eligible to participate in a an adult diversion program, known as TASC. If you successfully complete the program you earn a full dismissal of the charges. Failing to comply with the fee and other requirements will result in your dismissal from the program and a reinstatement of prosecution.

- No felony convictions
- No violent convictions
- Have not participated in a previous diversion program
What does the Program Involve?

How Much Does it Cost?
Generally, for marijuana cases, the program costs $1000, plus $14 per drug test, with $150 due at the first appointment. For dangerous or narcotic drugs, the program takes at least a year, and costs around $2,400. They do offer payments plans. However, failure to meet the payment plan obligations can result in dismissal from the program.
