Under Arizona law, Possession of Narcotic Drugs is a class 4 felony.

What is a Narcotic Drug?

The most common Narcotic Drugs are heroin, cocaine, crack, and hydrocodone.

Common Punishments

These cases typically carries probation as a punishment. But, if this is your first criminal offense you may be eligible for the TASC Diversion Program. However, if this wasn’t your first time being charged, you could be facing a prison sentence.

Over Threshold Amount

Additionally, if you have more than the threshold amount  of a drug, or there’s evidence that you engaged in drug sales, you’ll likely face more serious criminal charges, often which, mandate prison.
